Photoshop mockups of design

These are the mockups so far for my furniture with the design over them, The actual furniture will be produced for the exhibition

Upcycling

For upcycling my furniture the theme I was following was city verses nature, I wanted the two themes of images to work against eachother to create a stong image for a collage, this is the design I created to use on my pieces....

I made the colours stronger as I wanted a very sort of harsh, vibrant style. I really liked how the pattern turned out

Photobook

I also wanted to create a photobook to hold images of the style of furniture we would be selling, I wanted something plain and simple to let the photographs stand out

                                          Front and back cover

                                   Second and third page

Fourth and fifth page

I like the plain design that lets the photograpghs speak for themselves.

Price tag

The same as the business card i wanted the price tag to be plain with a strong image of the logo just on it, I think the simple plain design works well

Flyer

I wanted something that little bit different for the business flyer, So I came up with the idea of a wee open up pamphlet style. I made it look as if there were too closed doors that you open to make it have a sense of you entering the shop once you opened it.

                                                                          Closed

Open

I think the inside of the flyer turned out well, only using snippets of info and one image to give you a teaser into The Mod Pod

Final business card design

This is my final business card design, I think having the front entirely green works a lot better than the previous designs with the strip of grey/white down each side

                                Front

                               Back

I liked the idea of keeping the business card quite plain and only having essential information on it, i didn't want it to be overcrowded with too much bumph, which is the reason I opted for the symbols for phone number and Email.

Business cards

Now that I have my logo to work from I started designs on the business cards, I already had a clear idea in my head for how i wanted then to look, these are the results...

When I had these two designs completed i felt that the strip of grey/white down the sides looked out of place, So I carried on with my design until I found the right one.

Tweeking the final logo

So deciding to go with greeny blues and greys, I started tweeking the final image to create the logo I imagined. I thought having the green text on a white background made the text stand out more and made it easier to read. I love the two colours together. I think going with the smaller chair graphic was a better idea as it doesn't take away from the text anymore, yet it still gives a hint to what the business does. I'm very happy with the way my logo turned out, I think it suits my image.

Carrying on with the logo

While working on with the furniture themed logo, I decided that the large graphic wasn't working the way I had planned. So I started to experiment with a smaller graphic, I also tried a range of different colours to get a feel for what worked best, these are the results

Still keeping to quite strong yet calm colours I still favour the greeny blue and grey tones.

Furniture theme logo - variations

So these are the variations i experimented with to further my idea, I added in "upcycled furniture" to fill in the space better and tried a different fonts etc.

Furniture themed logo

I wanted to try something other than just the text explaining what the business was so I came up with the idea of putting the font into the design of a chair, this is the first of a few different variations I have done.
I quite like the idea and think ill keep going with it to see where I end up with it.

Different style logo

For this design i tried something a bit different from the others, i like the compact square with everything inside it and i think with the designs alongside the type it gives you lots to look aat.

Logo design

These three designs are all variations of the same idea with the line and dot, just experimenting with different fonts to get a feel for what looks best
